Bak Kut Teh, Round 2...

During my brief soujourn to Klang, I managed to sample yet another popular bak kut teh joint, and this time, it was for breakfast, the original meal during which bak kut teh was supposed to be consumed. Eng Teck and I left Semenyih, breezed past Subang, where we picked up Yenli and Heng Wen, headed over to Shah Alam to collect Zhao Heng, and trundled into Klang, where we had a brief stopover at Johnson's place. Kohilan eventually made his way there as well, and in short order, we were in the restaurant (Yap Seng? Sap Yeng? I can't really remember..). Danny, Hui Ping, Yao Bang, and Quek were already there, and Weng Phoon joined us as we were about to do justice to the meat.

This somehow reminds me of a romance scene...

Yenli and Quek had some fun giving flowers (Yao Bang has a knack for making these things out of tissue) to the store owner's son and girlfriend. See video here!

Now, before anyone out there starts wagging their fingers at me with sage advice about avoiding fatty foods, I must defend myself by saying that I don't eat bak kut teh all that often (although it seems like I do). I even left aside those pieces that were too sinful to eat.

Ticket to heart attack and clog arteries.

Having said that, I still haven't tried the one in Teluk Pulai. Klang hasn't seen the last of me, you can be sure...
